Playlist Dancers will perform in Carnival’s dramatic retooling of their legendary revue shows that combine captivating live performances with high-tech LED staging and special effects that set a new standard in seagoing productions. These popular music-driven revues have been created by leading producers, directors and choreographers who have worked on critically acclaimed productions for Broadway, London’s West End and some of the world’s most popular musical acts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare for every performance with a thorough body warm up and cool down.
Attend rehearsals and sound checks for all shows in a timely manner.
Assist the Dance Captain and Vocal Supervisor, as needed, in teaching choreography throughout the contract and prior to cast change.
Assist with the maintenance of assigned costumes, including basic repairs, and laundering.
Demonstrate commitment to Carnival Service Values
Actively participate in assigned activities including, but not limited to trainings, drills, safety briefings, including “Port Manning”, meetings, Just Ask and performances as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced stylistic dancers with strong performance qualities that can sing should apply.
Must have a strong personality onstage and be able to carry solo numbers with confidence.
A positive outlook, outgoing personality along with good people skills is essential.

Strong Male and Female Dancers to be cast as part of the ensemble of dancers/aerialist for the Center Stage ExperienceExceptional stylistic dance and performance abilities and strength for aerial harness work. (experience in aerial harness preferred but not required) Willingness to work in harness at heights up to 25 ft. Partner/Adagio experience and acro/tumbling skills are a bonus.Shows include somersault and front pick harness work. Females - Sway poles (climbing the pole not required) (a specific form of safety is provided when over audience or above 2 meters)Male: Weight Max 185lbs. Max Height - 6’0” - Min Height - 5'6" Female: Weight Max 135lbs . Max Height - 5’9” - Min Height - 5’0”

Pull ups, palms facing away from face, as many as possible. If unable complete 3 negative pull ups (lowering down by jumping or stepping up into position) as slow as possible without assistance from human or machine.

1 rope climb or 1 silk climb (with or without using feet)
1 Inverted straddle or 1 inverted tuck
1 Handstand (as long as possible, wall assist is acceptable)
